Teaching Internship

Teach For India is a nationwide movement that aims to eliminate inequity in education in India. Teach For India believes that one day all children will attain an excellent education and aims to build a movement of leaders who will work to eliminate educational inequity.

About part time job/internship:

The selected interns will be required to assist teaching English to 9th and 10th graders in an All boys school at Kashmiri Gate, Delhi

Selected Intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Assist in teaching the lesson plan LP for the day, especially to the lower order students (the LP will be given to volunteers beforehand, who are expected to read the chapter and LP and come prepared)
2. Clarify students' doubts related to the subject and give clear explanations to them
3. Check notebooks and test papers and give extensive feedback to the students (at least 5 students will be assigned to one volunteer)
4. Make students read aloud their incorrect answers first, then correct them and then make them read the corrected response aloud and ask them if they can sense the differences
5. Make sure that students fair out the corrections
