About the work from home job/internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Build, demonstrate and work on designing and developing software solutions that provide needed capabilities to the government
2. Build state-of-the-art research in data analytics, information architectures, machine learning, artificial intelligence, software architectures, and human-machine interaction
3. Support software development infrastructure and assist in building and configuring computing systems and resources
4. Build and demonstrate interactive prototypes
5. Test, evaluate and conduct rapid software prototyping to demonstrate and evaluate technologies in relevant environments
6. Evaluate systems for performance and security and test software capabilities using novel testing and analysis techniques
7. Participate in teams of developers, researchers, designers, and technical leads
8. Collaborate with researchers and our government customers to understand challenges, needs, and possible solutions
9. Contribute to improving the overall technical capabilities of the center by mentoring and teaching others, participating in design (software and otherwise) sessions, and sharing insights and wisdom across the emerging technology center team
10. Work on programming and technical experimentation
