As we embark on a new textile waste management project in Bhopal, which is the first textile recycling campaign in Madhya Pradesh, we are seeking enthusiastic interns to join our team and contribute to this impactful initiative.
Role and Responsibilities: As a textile waste management intern, you will be an integral part of our team, focusing on the successful execution of our textile waste management project in Bhopal.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Conduct Collection Drives: Organize and execute textile waste collection drives in neighborhoods, institutions, and offices
2. Create awareness: Develop and implement campaigns to educate about textile waste issues and recycling through various channels
3. Coordinate Collection Efforts: Liaise with teams and stakeholders to ensure efficient collection and transportation of textile waste
4. Engage the community: Build relationships with local organizations and address queries from participants
5. Manage Data: Maintain accurate records of collection drives and prepare reports summarizing project outcomes

1. Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in environmental science, social work, public administration, or any other graduation program, but enthusiastic about environmental responsibilities and waste management. This is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in waste management, recycling, the circular economy, and the sustainability sector.

c. Possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
d. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

4. Availability: The candidate must be available to work in Bhopal from July 1, 2024, for the duration of the internship.
