We run a series of street food tours across Asia and Latin America.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Greeting tourists before starting the tour
2. Ensuring a 5-star experience with every person/group
3. Sharing stories about every food stop or place you visit during the tour
4. Ensuring that your guests feel comfortable, welcome and have a great time
5. Interacting with the guests, answer their questions about the country, city, heritage, culture and food
6. Improving the tours as and when required
7. Working with the team to develop new tour routes
8. Making sure that the guests know how to reach the meeting point or how to get back to their accommodation after the tour ends
9. Building reviews on relevant websites
10. Responding to emergency situations in the best manner possible
11. Strictly understanding food allergies and food preferences of travelers
Requirements:
1. An enthusiastic Mumbai-based tour guide
2. Must be proficient in English
3. Excellent conversational skills with a knack for storytelling
4. Intimate knowledge of Mumbai's food scene
5. A tour guide who can take care of up to 8 guests
6. Proactive in helping to grow and improve the tour
7. Looking to stay long term and build a team of foodie guides
8. Have in-depth knowledge of food ingredients in every dish they will be sampling
