About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Work on projects and plans relating to all kinds of automation of road transport systems in government projects
2. Identify solutions and provide assistance to the project team with various models of road transport design and engineering
3. Work can be related to government policies and initiatives, automation, and enforcement in road transport
4. Work on projects, often from the initial idea through to design, completion, and review
5. Design and interpret transport and travel surveys
6. Develop initial design ideas for new or improved transport infrastructure, such as junction improvements or pedestrian priority schemes
7. Write reports and present options and recommendations on transport systems
8. Handle simulation models to forecast the effects of road improvements
9. Participate in consultation initiatives, including designing questionnaires and attending reviews
10. Assess infrastructure requirements of new developments to support planning applications
11. Act as an expert for inside and external transport planning and modeling initiatives
