About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Determine clients' needs and suggest suitable travel packages
2. Organize travels from beginning to end, including tickets, accommodation, and transportation
3. Supply travelers with pertinent information and useful travel/holiday materials
4. Research various destinations and means of travel regarding prices, customs, weather conditions, reviews, etc.
5. Collect deposits and balances
6. Use promotional techniques and prepare promotional materials to sell itinerary tour packages
7. Handle unforeseen problems and complaints and determine eligibility for money returns
8. Attend conferences to maintain familiarity with tourism trends
9. Create and update electronic records of clients
10. Maintain relationships with key persons
11. Keep financial statements and documents
12. Reach the revenue and profit targets

Additional information

Stipend structure: This is a performance-based internship. In addition to the minimum-assured stipend, you will also be paid a performance-linked incentive (₹ 750 per sale).

Note: We are looking for a travel consultant with great enthusiasm for traveling. You will be responsible for promoting and booking traveling arrangements for clients (individuals or businesses). The goal is to enhance satisfaction and acquire an expanding and dedicated clientele.
