About the internship
We are looking for a skilled and creative Instagram reel video recorder as well as an editor to join our team. You will be responsible for creating engaging and visually appealing short-form videos for our brand as well as our client's social presence. If you have a passion for video editing, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to tell stories through captivating visuals, we would love to have you on board.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Have a creative eye for recording videos for Fb/IG reels and YT shorts.
2. Edit short-form videos for Instagram Reels/YouTube shorts, adhering to the brand's style and guidelines.
3. Use video editing software to trim, arrange, and enhance footage for maximum impact.
4. Apply creative transitions, effects, and animations to enhance the visual appeal of the videos.
5. Optimize video content for social media format, ensuring the videos are visually appealing and engaging.
6. Content curation: Select relevant video clips, images, and audio to create compelling and cohesive videos.
7. Incorporate on-trend and popular content elements to increase engagement and reach.
8. Collaborate with the content team to brainstorm and generate fresh ideas for reel content.
9. Storytelling and narration: Understand the brand's messaging and storytelling objectives to create videos that effectively communicate the desired message.
10. Utilize video sequencing, pacing, and audio to create a cohesive narrative and capture viewers' attention.
11. Incorporate engaging captions, subtitles, or text overlays to enhance the storytelling experience.
12. Visual and audio enhancement: Enhance video quality by adjusting brightness, contrast, saturation, and other visual parameters.
13. Sync appropriate background music, sound effects, or voiceovers to enhance the video impact.
14. Maintain a consistent visual and audio style across all videos while aligning with the brand's identity.
15. Quality control and optimization: Review and proofread videos for errors, ensuring accurate captions, smooth transitions, and proper audio synchronization.
16. Optimize video files for efficient storage and upload while maintaining high-quality standards.
17. Stay up to date with industry trends, new editing techniques, and Instagram reel features.
