About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Manipulate and edit film pieces in a way that is invisible to the audience
2. Take a brief to grasp production team s needs and specifications
3. Review shooting script and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scenes value and contribution to continuity
4. Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film
5. Input music, dialogues, graphics and effects
6. Create rough and final cuts
7. Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running
8. Consult with stakeholders from production to post-production process
9. Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry s best practices to maximize efficiency

3. are available for duration of 3 months

Added requirements

1. Candidates having a bachelor's degree in film studies, cinematography or related field shall apply

2. Must have solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g. Avid Media Composer, Lightworks, Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, and Adobe Final Cut)

3. Must have demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio

4. Must have a thorough knowledge of timing, motivation, and continuity

5. Must have familiarity with special effects, 3D and compositing

6. Must have a creative mind and storytelling skills
