Video Editing/Making Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

(a) Video editing:
1. Importing and organizing raw footage.
2. Cutting and trimming video clips to create a coherent sequence.
3. Assembling recorded footage into a finished project that matches the vision.
4. Adding music, dialogues, graphics, and effects to enhance the video.
5. Ensuring logical sequencing and smooth running of the video.
6. Reviewing and making revisions based on feedback from team members or clients.

(b) Project management:
1. Collaborating with content creators, directors, and producers to understand project requirements.
2. Managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery.
3. Creating and maintaining a detailed timeline for each project.
4. Communicating progress and any issues to the team or clients.

(c) Technical work:
1. Using professional editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
2. Adjusting color grading, lighting, and sound quality.
3. Exporting final videos in various formats for different platforms (e.g., YouTube, Instagram, Facebook).
4. Backing up and archiving completed projects.

(d) Creative input:
1. Brainstorming and contributing creative ideas during pre-production and post-production meetings.
2. Staying updated with the latest editing techniques, trends, and technologies.
3. Incorporating storytelling techniques to enhance viewer engagement.
4. Suggesting and implementing new editing styles and effects to improve the overall quality of the content.
