About the internship
Dot JPEG Studio is seeking a talented and creative video editor for a 2-month full-time internship with the potential for a pre-placement offer (PPO). The ideal candidate must be proficient in motion graphics editing, social media reel editing, YouTube shorts and episodes editing, photography retouching, and color grading. A decent knowledge of photography and videography, as well as an awareness of current video and photo trends on social media, is essential.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Edit motion graphics and create visually engaging content.
2. Edit social media reels and YouTube shorts & episodes to appeal to the target audience.
3. Manage and synchronize audio effectively during video editing.
4. Perform photography retouching and color grading to enhance visual quality.
Requirements
1. Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or DaVinci Resolve, including DaVinci Resolve Fusion.
2. Experience with Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom.
3. Strong understanding of video editing techniques and principles.
4. Familiarity with current trends in video and photo content on social media platforms.
5. A bachelor's degree in a related field.
