About the internship
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic video editing trainee to join our dynamic team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals passionate about video production and eager to develop their skills in a professional environment. As a Video Editing Trainee, you will assist in the creation of high-quality video content, learn from experienced editors, and gain hands-on experience with industry-standard tools and techniques.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Assist in importing, organizing, and managing video footage and project files.
2. Perform basic video editing tasks, including cutting, trimming, and sequencing clips to create coherent video narratives.
3. Sync audio with video footage and perform basic audio editing, including adjusting levels and removing background noise.
4. Add titles, text overlays, and lower thirds to videos as directed by senior editors.
5. Apply basic transitions and effects to enhance video content.
6. Assist with basic color correction tasks to improve video quality and consistency.
7. Prepare videos for final output, including exporting in various formats and compressing files for different platforms.
8. Review and ensure the quality of video content, checking for errors, inconsistencies, and technical issues.
9. Work closely with the video production team, including directors, producers, and senior editors, to achieve project goals.
10. Stay updated with the latest video editing techniques, software updates, and industry trends through training and self-study.

Other requirements
1. A degree or certification in film, media production, communications, or a related field is preferred but not required.
2. Basic knowledge of video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
3. A keen eye for detail and a good sense of visual composition and storytelling.
4. Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
5. Ability to manage time effectively and meet project deadlines.
6. Flexibility to work on various projects and adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
7. Willingness to learn from and support team members, contributing positively to a collaborative work environment.
