About the internship
Wanted: A Video Wizard with Editing Superpowers
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Editing Raw Footage: Assist in editing raw video footage into polished final cuts, ensuring content aligns with the creative direction and brand guidelines.
2. Adding Effects & Transitions: Incorporate transitions, effects, and graphics to enhance the visual appeal and storytelling of the videos.
3. Collaborating with the Creative Team: Work closely with the creative team, including producers, directors, and content creators, to understand project goals and deliver high-quality video outputs.
4. Managing Video Assets: Organize and manage video files, assets, and project folders to maintain an efficient workflow and quick access to necessary materials.
5. Syncing Audio & Video: Sync audio tracks with video footage, ensuring proper alignment and clarity in final edits.
6. Exporting & Uploading Videos: Export final videos in various formats for different platforms (e.g., social media, websites) and upload them as required.
7. Receiving & Implementing Feedback: Accept and implement feedback from senior editors and clients to refine edits and meet project objectives.
Are you the type of video editor who can turn raw footage into money making machine while sipping coffee in your pajamas?
Perfect, because we're on the hunt for someone who:
1. Experience: Has at least 1 year of professional experience (yes, making Reels for your cat counts, but only if it's gone viral).
2. Software Mastery: Fluent in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects (if you still use Movie Maker, this might not be for you).
3. Passion: Lives and breathes editing, and maybe even dreams in timelines and keyframes.
4. Resources: Owns a subscription to Envato, Storyblocks, or any other magical resource that makes editors look like wizards.
5. Tech Savvy: Has a decent PC or laptop capable of editing up to 4K videos (because your 2010 laptop just won't cut it).
Bonus points if you can edit in your sleep, have an uncanny ability to turn chaos into storytelling, and can work remotely without disappearing into the void.
If this sounds like you, don't keep us waiting!
