Video Editing/Making Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1.Organizing raw footage: Import, organize, and label raw video footage, audio files, graphics, and other assets. Sort footage based on scene shot quality, or project requirements for easy accessibility.
2. Editing and assembling clips: Assist with the basic assembly of scenes by arranging clips in order, syncing audio, and adding transitions. Trim and cut clips to meet the needs of the project and fit the intended style.
3. Adding basic effects and graphics: Apply basic effects, filters, and color corrections to clips as directed. Incorporate lower thirds, titles, and basic graphics if required.
4. Inserting music and sound effects: Search for and add suitable music and sound effects to enhance scenes. Adjust audio levels and remove background noise where necessary.
5. Revisions and feedback implementation: Make edits and adjustments based on feedback from senior editors, producers, or clients. Track multiple versions and iterations of edits to ensure smooth revisions.
6. Team collaboration and communication: Attend team meetings, discuss project requirements, and coordinate tasks with other team members. Communicate progress, share timelines, and notify the team of any challenges in the editing process.
