About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Manipulate and edit film pieces
2. Take a brief to grasp production team's needs and specifications
3. Review shooting script and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scenes value and contribution to continuity
4. Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film
5. Input music, dialogues, graphics, and effects
6. Create rough and final cuts.
7. Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running.
8. Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry's best practices to maximize efficiency

Who can apply

Only those candidates can apply who:

1. are available for full time (in-office) internship

2. can start the internship between 24th Sep'20 and 29th Oct'20

3. are available for duration of 2 months

4. are from or open to relocate to Ahmedabad

5. have relevant skills and interests

Added requirements

1. Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g. Avid Media Composer, Lightworks, Premiere, After Effects, and Final Cut)

2. Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio

3. Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation, and continuity

4. Familiarity with special effects, 3D, and compositing

5. Creative mind and storytelling skills

6. Proven work experience as a video editor

7. BS degree in film studies, cinematography, or related field
