About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Designing and developing the organization's website using modern technologies and frameworks.
2. Collaborating with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into functional and visually appealing web solutions.
3. Implementing responsive design principles to ensure the website is accessible and optimized across various devices and screen sizes.
4. Integrating payment gateways and donation platforms for seamless online transactions.
5. Optimizing website performance, speed, and security.
6. Creating and updating website content, including text, images, and multimedia elements.
7. Conducting website testing and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues promptly.
8. Implementing SEO best practices to improve website visibility and search engine rankings.
9. Monitoring website analytics and generating reports to track key metrics and user engagement.
10. Staying updated with the latest web development trends, technologies, and best practices to enhance the organization's online presence

Other requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in computer science, web development, or a related field.

2. Proven experience as a website developer or similar role with a strong portfolio showcasing previous projects.

3. Proficiency in web development languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.

4. Experience with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Drupal, or Joomla.

5. Knowledge of web hosting, domain management, and server configurations.

6. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

7. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

8. Passion for social causes and a commitment to contributing positively to society.

Donation Box India Foundation is a non-profit organization registered under Section 8 of The Companies Act 2013. The vision of the foundation is to kill hunger and educate underprivileged children. We believe education makes a huge difference in the quality of human life. We also collect used/new clothes from door to door and distribute them to those who need them. Currently, we are active in Delhi NCR. Donation Box India Foundation is registered under section 80G of the Income Tax Act 1961 and provides tax exemption to donors for their contribution.
