About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Work on web development on MEAN/MERN stack
2. Work on database handling for MongoDB (NoSQL) or MySQL
3. Understand accessibility and security compliance
4. Work on user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
5. Integrate multiple data sources and databases into one system
6. Manage hosting environment, including database administration and scaling an application to support load changes
7. Work on data migration, transformation, and scripting
8. Setup and administrate backups
9. Output data in different formats
10. Create database schemas that represent and support business processes
11. Implement automated testing platforms and unit tests

1. Must have a basic understanding of front-end technologies and platforms, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3

2. Must have a good understanding of server-side CSS preprocessors, such as LESS and SASS

3. Must have an understanding of differences between multiple delivery platforms such as mobile vs desktop, and optimizing output to match the specific platform

4. Must be proficient in understanding code versioning tools, such as Git

5. Must have a proficient understanding of OWASP security principles

6. Must have an understanding of session management in a distributed server environment
