Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Identify design problems and devise elegant solutions; make strategic design and user-experience decisions related to core, new functions, and features
2. Demonstrate strong visual design expertise with the ability to produce fresh, simple, elegant, and exceedingly usable layouts, interactions, and iconography
3. Design illustrations and creatives for the web, social media, and mailers
4. Follow up with the developers and suggest necessary changes
