Modernmonk Healthcare Private Limited is a Pune based startup in the field of chronic disease management. The company works with the vision to make lives of patients suffering from chronic diseases easier and hopes to impact the lives of one million people in the next three years using technologies such as machine learning and artificial intelligence. The company was incorporated in August 2018 but had been functional as a proprietorship for about 10 months before the incorporation.
The founders of the company come with backgrounds from IIT, ISB, and with experience working with firms such as Siemens AG, and ICICI. The company has a mentor who is currently a professor of entrepreneurship and strategy at the Indian School of Business and has been the CEO of companies of the likes of Papa John's Pizza and Kabab Factory.
