About the Role:
We are looking for a WordPress Developer Intern to join our team and assist in building and maintaining websites using WordPress. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to gain hands-on experience in web development, plugins, themes, and performance optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining WordPress websites.
Customize themes and plugins to enhance website functionality.
Optimize website performance, speed, and SEO best practices.
Troubleshoot and debug issues in WordPress websites.
Collaborate with designers and developers to create user-friendly web experiences.
Keep up with the latest WordPress trends, tools, and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Basic understanding of WordPress CMS, themes, and plugins.
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
Familiarity with page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, or Gutenberg.
Basic knowledge of SEO principles and website optimization.
Understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
Ability to work in a team and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
Bonus Skills (Preferred but Not Mandatory):
Experience with WooCommerce, custom post types, or API integrations.
Knowledge of Git, version control, and hosting platforms (cPanel, AWS, etc.).
Familiarity with website security and backup solutions.
