About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Develop and design a responsive and accessible WordPress website that aligns with RLF's mission and vision.
2. Implement e-commerce functionalities, including setting up a store section for selling tactile books and resources.
3. Create and integrate visually compelling graphics, banners, and other design elements into the website.
4. Assist in integrating content, including text, images, and videos, ensuring it aligns with the overall design and theme.
5. Update and maintain the website regularly to ensure it remains functional, secure, and up-to-date.
6. Collaborate closely with the marketing and program teams to support ongoing projects, including campaign launches and new product releases.

About Raised Lines Foundation

Website

Raised Lines Foundation is incubated out of IIT Delhi with a vision of making tactile diagrams available to every student with visual impairment. We develop end to end solutions for the development of tactile diagrams in an affordable and scalable manner. Tactile diagrams are the embossed/raised representation of images that a blind person can touch and perceive.

We provide tactile design and production services and are closely working with NCERT, Sarv Shiksha Abhiyaan (Govt. of India), WSSCC (UN organization) and other organization working in the field of blindness.
