About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Assist in the development and customization of WordPress themes and plugins
2. Help design and implement new website features and functionalities
3. Support the maintenance and optimization of existing WordPress websites
4. Collaborate with the team to troubleshoot and resolve website issues
5. Ensure websites are responsive and optimized for performance and SEO
6. Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving the quality of deliverables
7. Document development processes and maintain clear communication with the team

Who can apply

Other requirements

1. Pursuing or recently completed a degree in computer science, web development, or a related field

2. Basic understanding of WordPress, including themes, plugins, and the WordPress admin dashboard

3. Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Knowledge of PHP and MySQL is a plus

4. Experience with version control systems like Git is preferred

5. Strong problem-solving skills and a keen interest in learning new technologies

6. Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment

7. Prior experience with WordPress projects (personal, academic, or freelance) is advantageous
