2D Generalist Work From Home Internship

We are seeking a skilled and versatile 2D generalist animator to join our creative team. The ideal candidate excels in all aspects of 2D animation, including character, background, and environment animation, and has strong skills in storyboarding, illustration, and design. This role requires expertise across various styles, a keen eye for visual storytelling, and the ability to bring imaginative ideas to life.

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Work on 2D animation: Create high-quality character, background, and environment animations in diverse styles and genres.
2. Handle storyboarding: Develop detailed storyboards to clearly convey narratives and creative concepts.
3. Work on illustration & design: Design characters, props, and environments that align with the artistic vision.
4. Handle visual development: Contribute to the overall look and feel of projects by assisting in concept creation and visual direction.
5. Work on creative problem-solving: Devise innovative animation solutions to enhance storytelling and execution.
6. Work on software proficiency: Utilize tools like Toon Boom Harmony, Clip Studio Paint, Adobe Animate, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator to produce professional-grade work.
7. Handle collaboration: Work closely with directors, designers, and animators to ensure creative alignment and project consistency.
8. Work on time management: Handle multiple projects and meet deadlines without compromising quality.
9. Handle quality control: Review and refine animations, ensuring high standards of visual and technical execution.
10. Work on adaptability: Stay current with industry trends, tools, and techniques to bring fresh ideas to every project.
