About the work from home job/internship
As an accounts intern at Verve Advisory Private Limited, you will have the opportunity to learn and grow in the field of accounting while gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic work environment. Your knowledge of accounting, Tally, MS Excel, and MS Office, and strong English writing skills will be put to good use as you support our team in various financial tasks.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Passing accounting entries daily.
2. Accounting for purchase & expense invoices.
3. Overseeing stock/inventory accounting in Tally.
4. Maintaining cost centers in Tally.
5. Checking invoices against purchase orders.
6. Preparing age-wise receivable/payable reports.
7. Approving vendor payments.
8. Standard email communication.
9. Preparing MIS reports.
10. Taking care of legal compliance while making payments.
11. Following receivables.
12. Understanding accounting standards, and principles.
13. Preparation of various reports such as A/R, A/P, Estimates etc.
14. Preparation of tax invoices in domestic as well as foreign currency.
15. Month-end closure of books.
