About the work from home job/internship
As an Android app development intern, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining mobile applications for our clients. You will work closely with our experienced developers and designers to create intuitive, high-quality apps that provide a seamless user experience. This internship will offer you the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a professional environment, enhance your development skills, and work on real-world projects.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Develop, test, and maintain Android applications using Java, Kotlin, and AndroidX libraries
2. Integrate Firebase services for app functionality such as authentication, real-time databases, cloud storage, and push notifications
3. Consume RESTful APIs to connect applications to back-end services
4. Design and implement user interfaces using XML with a focus on creating intuitive and aesthetically pleasing user experiences
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UI/UX designers and back-end developers, to deliver high-quality products
6. Troubleshoot and debug issues to optimize performance and ensure a smooth user experience
7. Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality and best practices
8. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies
