Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include working on Android app development.
Who can apply:
1. Hands-on experience and knowledge of Kotlin & Java
2. Android UI development skills with Jetpack Compose
3. Knowledge of Coil, Retrofit, Glide/Picasso, Google Maps, and other libraries is a must
4. Good experience in architecture components: navigation, live data, fragments, ViewModel, UI state handling, RoomDB, lifecycle
5. Knowledge and experience in Dependency Injection, Hilt library, and Kotlin Coroutines are good to have
6. Android device permission handling and network issue handling skills are a must
7. Good knowledge of Annotation, Generics, Collections, Threading, and OOP concepts
8. Launching app in PlayStore, certifications, data protection, code protection, and quality of coding is essential
9. Knowledge of Firebase is good to have
10. School/College students adept at app development and seeking internship experience

12. Self-motivated, passionate, dedicated, committed, and goal-focused skills are good to have
13. Code-reusability, reducing complexity, following coding standards

Waste Samaritan (WS) is a start-up born at and won the first REimagiNE Waste hackathon held at the Indian Institute of Science in April 2016. The firm works in the space of implementing information and communication technology solutions for urban waste towards better data-driven governance, administration, and management of men and materials.
