We are seeking a highly motivated back-end development intern to join our technically proficient team. This role involves contributing to the design, development, and maintenance of high-performance server-side logic, ensuring seamless functionality in our applications.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Collaborate with the development team to understand project requirements and technical objectives
2. Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality server-side logic using Python and related technologies
3. Integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end engineers with complex server-side logic
4. Develop RESTful APIs and web services to support front-end functionalities using FastAPI or similar frameworks
5. Assist in designing, implementing, and maintaining relational and NoSQL databases
6. Debug and resolve complex technical issues to ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of backend systems
7. Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and advancements in back-end development
8. Collaborate with team members to document technical processes, development workflows, and findings

1. Currently pursuing a bachelors or masters degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related technical field.

4. Possess hands-on experience with web development frameworks and technologies, particularly FastAPI and Flask.
5. Proficiency in database design, implementation, and optimization (SQL and NoSQL).
6. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
7. Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker).
8. Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
9. Possess the ability to work collaboratively in a technically complex team environment.
10. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
11. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
