Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Design and implement efficient, scalable, and secure server-side architecture for the Instapick application
2. Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for seamless communication between frontend and backend systems
3. Build and manage databases, ensuring optimal performance and reliability for storing merchant, customer, and order data
4. Integrate third-party services such as payment gateways, real-time notifications, and location-tracking systems
5. Debug and resolve backend issues, ensuring system stability and adherence to project timelines
