About the work from home job/internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Market Research: Conduct research to identify new market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to help shape business strategies.
2. Lead Generation: Use various methods such as cold calling, emailing, and social media outreach to identify and generate potential business leads.
3. Client Communication: Assist in maintaining relationships with existing clients and follow up on potential leads to nurture business relationships.
4. Proposal Preparation: Help in drafting proposals, presentations, and pitches for potential clients.
5. Data Management: Maintain and update the CRM system with new and existing client information, ensuring data accuracy and accessibility.
6. Sales Support: Provide administrative support to the sales team, including preparing sales reports, scheduling meetings, and handling client inquiries.
7. Event Participation: Assist in organizing and attending business development events, webinars, and networking opportunities to promote Ascent's services.
8. Market Analysis: Analyze market data to identify trends, customer preferences, and potential areas for business expansion.
9. Collaboration with Teams: Work closely with marketing, sales, and technical teams to develop and implement business development strategies.
10. Feedback Collection: Gather and analyze feedback from clients and prospects to improve Ascent's services and client satisfaction.

These responsibilities will provide a comprehensive experience in business development, equipping the intern with essential skills and knowledge for a successful career in the field.

Other requirements

1. Educational Background.

2. Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field.

Skills and Competencies:

1. Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Proficiency in Hindi or other regional languages is a bonus.

2. Sales Acumen: Basic understanding of sales principles and strategies. Prior experience in sales or customer service is advantageous.

3. Time Management: Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a remote work environment.

4. Self-Motivated: Proactive and self-driven with the ability to work independently and take initiative.

Experience:

1. Prior internship or part-time experience in business development, sales or marketing is preferred.

2. Familiarity with the IT services industry and understanding of small and medium scale business needs in India is a plus.

Technical Requirements:

1. Reliable internet connection and a suitable home office setup to ensure effective remote working.

2. Access to a computer or laptop with necessary software and tools for remote communication and work.
