Collections - Accounts Work From Home Internship

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Collections Intern to join our Accounts Department. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the financial sector, specifically in accounts receivable and collections processes.

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Assist in the management of accounts receivable, including tracking outstanding invoices and payments.
2. Support the collections team in contacting clients regarding overdue accounts via phone, email, and written correspondence.
3. Help prepare and maintain accurate records of all collection activities and communications.
4. Conduct research to locate debtors and verify account information.
5. Assist with data entry and updating financial records in our accounting software.
6. Collaborate with team members to analyze accounts and develop strategies for improving collections.
7. Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for enhancing the collections process.
