About the work from home job/internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Prototyping: Research existing state-of-the-art pose estimation algorithms and prototype them for several motion detection and tracking application
2. Data Management: Build data pipelines for collecting & processing data from multiple data sources: from the point of ingestion to useful insight. Assist in creating datasets including annotating images or videos with ground truth pose sequencing
3. Neural Network Artistry: Collaborate with the guild of in-house wizards, crafting neural networks that predict and understand motion like seers of old. Your canvas? Tensorflow/Pytorch. Your colors? Algorithms and data. Paint the future of gesture recognition and forecasting.
4. Debugging and continuous improvement: Work with the team to improve the existing algorithms. Your quest is to ensure our creations are not just powerful, but also agile and adaptable, ready to dazzle in the real world.

Other requirements

1. Previous coursework or project experience in Computer Vision involving deep learning

2. Understanding of machine learning concepts and experience with training and evaluating deep learning models.

3. Good programming skills in Python (or C++) and experience with deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).

4. Familiarity with computer vision libraries and tools (OpenCV, Dlib, etc.).

5. Strong problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset. Willingness to learn more

6. Previous experience with human body pose estimation or tracking projects is a huge plus.

Compute requirement:

Currently, we expect Interns to use their laptops/workstations to perform work, in addition to the cloud units we provide to train networks. The work requires a CPU with at least 16GB RAM, 8 cores, and a graphics card with a minimum of 4GB memory. Please reach out in case you are missing any of these requirements by a thin margin.

Additional information

Stipend structure: This is a performance-based internship. In addition to the minimum-assured stipend, you will also be paid a performance-linked incentive (₹ 3000 per monthy performance).
