About the work from home job/internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Research & Topic Exploration (30%) - Identify regional issues, cultural stories, and historical events in Sikkim. Deep dive into books, reports, and archives, cross-verifying facts, and brainstorming documentary themes.
2. Field Visits & Story Collection (20%) - Travel to key locations, interact with locals, and document real stories through photos, videos, and notes.
3. Interviews & Audio-Visual Documentation (20%) - Conduct and record interviews with historians, tribal elders, and experts, capturing emotions and personal anecdotes.
4. Writing & Structuring (15%) - Convert research into structured reports, develop summaries, and create compelling narratives for documentaries.
5. Content Submission & Collaboration (10%) - Organize and submit reports, discuss findings with the team, and suggest visual elements for storytelling.
6. Review & Refinement (5%) - Fact-check, edit research notes, and improve content based on team feedback.

Other requirements

Can start the internship in February or March 2025 (between 31st Jan and 7th Mar 2025).

Are based in Sikkim or North Bengal or have a strong understanding of the region.

Have relevant skills and interests in research, documentation, interviewing, and storytelling.
