About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Conduct in-depth research on equities including financial analysis and market trends.
2. Assist in preparing financial models and detailed reports.
3. Support the team with data collection, analysis, and interpretation.
4. Utilize MS Excel for data management, analysis, and presentation.
5. Engage in logical reasoning and analytical discussions to contribute to the investment team.
6. Take initiative in learning and applying new skills relevant to equity research.

Other requirements

1. Graduate in economics, finance, or related disciplines. CA Inter/IPCC, CFA Level 1/2, FRM, or equivalent qualifications are highly regarded.

2. Proficiency in MS Excel (beginner to intermediate level) is required. Prior experience in equity research or financial modeling is a plus.

3. Fluency in English, both written and verbal.

4. Strong logical and analytical reasoning skills, a proactive approach, and a desire to learn and grow in the field.

5. Keen attention to detail and a regular habit of reading financial news are essential for success in this role.

6. Candidates must have their own laptop/computer.
