About the work from home job/internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Support the creative director in brand development, production, marketing, and client management
2. Collaborate with the team to source top-quality materials, facilitate custom manufacturing, and create design tech packs and samples
3. Assist in market research, vendor management, and retailer coordination
4. Ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction through client interaction
5. Aid in creating and maintaining mood boards, flow charts, and Excel Sheets
6. Accompany the creative director on factory/company visits as needed
7. Stay updated on the latest fashion trends and developments in the American marketplace

Note:

1. This job description may evolve based on company needs. The fashion merchandising intern will gain exposure to various areas of the fashion industry
2. A letter of recommendation and references will be provided upon completion of the internship
3. Flexible work hours, Monday to Friday; with occasional weekend assignments

Other requirements

1. College education, preferably with a degree in fashion, mass communication, or related fields

2. Strong passion for fashion and awareness of the latest trends

3. Proficiency in MS Office suite, especially Excel

4. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

5. Willingness to learn and adapt to a fast-paced work environment

6. Effective communication and collaboration skills

7. Knowledge of tech pack design is a plus

8. Comfortable with vendor management, retailer coordination, and market research

9. Ability to communicate effectively with US-based clients

10. Strong work ethic and ability to take direction effectively
