5. Develop and pitch creative story ideas that reflect current trends and issues important to our audience.
6. Contribute to the management of social media channels to promote published content and engage with followers.
7. Attend and actively participate in editorial meetings, offering fresh perspectives and innovative ideas for content development.

Other requirements

1. Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in journalism, mass communication, or a related field.

2. Strong writing skills in English, with the ability to adapt to different tones and styles.

3. Basic knowledge of SEO, content optimization, and social media strategies.

4. Interest in video production, from ideation to editing (basic experience in tools like Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro is a plus).

5. Strong research and fact-checking abilities.

6. Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

7. A passion for journalism and storytelling, with a desire to contribute meaningfully to the publication.

Talking about its history, the Hindustan Herald is an Indian newspaper & that was founded by the last Governor-General of India Chakravarti Rajagopalachari in 1921.
