We work on social hiring. Traditionally, employers have mostly been limited to the information that candidates provide on their paper resumes. With the advent of social media, employers now have access to much more candidate information than before, including information regarding personal interests, social interactions, and even previous work samples. The internet and social media have wiped out the need to advertise positions through more traditional means. One of the latest HR technology trends since 2013 has been the democratization and gamification of recruiting. Fueling this trend is the idea that anyone can be a recruiter and that companies can quickly, cheaply, and effectively find and hire the top talent, if only given the proper technology.
