Legal Research Work From Home Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities:

1. Conduct a comprehensive analysis of LinkedIn's Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Developer Program policies
2. Research data protection regulations across multiple jurisdictions, including GDPR (EU), CCPA (California), and other relevant frameworks
3. Document findings and prepare summaries of key legal considerations
4. Identify potential compliance challenges and recommend risk mitigation strategies
5. Assist in developing internal compliance protocols
6. Work closely with product and engineering teams to ensure regulatory alignment

Requirements:

1. Currently enrolled in law school (2L/3L preferred) or recent graduate
2. Strong understanding of data privacy law concepts
3. Excellent research and analytical skills
4. Ability to interpret complex legal documents and explain them clearly
5. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
6. Interest in technology law, particularly as it relates to data use and privacy
7. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
8. Coursework or experience in technology law, privacy law, or intellectual property
9. Understanding of SaaS business models and B2B environments
10. Experience with or knowledge of API usage policies and data scraping regulations
11. Familiarity with international data protection frameworks

1
