Media & Public Relations (PR) Work From Home Internship

The primary role of a public relations (PR) professional in a university setting is to create, maintain, and enhance the university's public image. This is done through a variety of activities such as media relations, special events planning, and community outreach.

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Developing and executing communications strategies to publicize the university s mission, goals, and accomplishments
2. Working on crafting press releases, media advisories, and other content to promote the university to various stakeholders
3. Managing the university s website and social media channels to ensure the content is up-to-date and in line with the university s mission
4. Working with associates and student admissions
5. Organizing guest talks with eminent personalities, special events, and activities to promote the university and create a positive public image
6. Working with departments to create and execute communications plans that highlight the university s unique offerings
7. Developing and implementing crisis communications plans to ensure the university is prepared for any potential public relations issues
8. Monitoring, evaluating, and reporting on the effectiveness
