Network Engineering Work From Home Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Monitoring network performance using tools like Cisco Prime, SolarWinds, or PRTG and identifying basic network issues
2. Assisting in configuring and maintaining network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls, including VLAN setup and IP addressing
3. Maintaining and updating network documentation, including network diagrams and device configurations
4. Supporting senior engineers in implementing network solutions or upgrades and helping with equipment setup in data centers
5. Assisting in implementing basic security measures, monitoring vulnerabilities, and ensuring compliance with company policies
6. Shadowing senior network engineers to gain hands-on experience and preparing for higher-level certifications
7. Assisting end-users with basic network-related issues and providing support for VPN configurations
8. Testing new network configurations and validating changes to ensure they meet performance and security requirements
9. Collaborating with other IT teams to resolve cross-functional issues and attending team meetings for task updates
10. Performing ad-hoc tasks such as inventory management, assisting with audits, or researching new technologies
