About the work from home job/internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Partnership Development: Collaborate with partner NGOs to create joint initiatives. Help identify and onboard organizations aligned with our mission of girl education and women empowerment.
2. Donor Engagement: Support the team in researching and negotiating with potential donors, including preparing proposals, and presentations, and attending meetings.
3. Event & Activity Coordination: Help organize events, webinars, and campaigns related to girl education and women empowerment initiatives.
4. Reporting & Documentation: Assist in tracking progress, compiling reports, and documenting success stories from our programs and partnerships.

About Nav-Tarang Social Organization

We are a social group aimed at addressing the gap between education and empowerment, especially for young girls in underserved communities in India. We believe basic education alone is not enough for the upliftment of young underprivileged girls, who are brought up in communities that still believe marriage and not financial independence is the most integral part of a girl's life.

"Nav-Tarang" means a new wave. Our organization, through its programs, aims to bring a new wave of inspiration for young girls and provide them with hand-holding through their path to becoming independent both emotionally and financially. We intend to challenge oppressive norms and conduct programs for young girls to increase their self-esteem and to build leadership in these girls to live a life of dignity.
