About the work from home job/internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Record financial transactions: Maintain accurate and timely records of all financial activities
2. Assist with financial reports: Prepare draft balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow summaries
3. Manage accounts payable and receivable: Process invoices, and payments, and follow up on outstanding receivables
4. Reconcile accounts: Ensure accuracy by reconciling bank statements and financial discrepancies
5. Support budgeting and forecasting: Assist in monitoring budgets and preparing financial forecasts
6. Ensure compliance: Help maintain documentation for audits and ensure adherence to legal and company policies
7. Assist with tax filings: Gather necessary data and documentation for tax reporting

3. Proficiency in software: Experience with accounting software (e.g., Odoo, Tally, or Google Sheets) is a plus

4. Analytical skills: Ability to analyze financial data and identify discrepancies or trends

5. Communication skills: Effective verbal and written communication for interacting with team members and stakeholders

6. Time management: Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

7. Ethical conduct: A strong sense of integrity and confidentiality in handling financial information

8. Team collaboration: Willingness to work collaboratively with the finance team and other departments

9. Problem-solving ability: Quick learner with the ability to troubleshoot financial issues

10. Attention to detail: Strong focus on accuracy in financial documentation and reporting

Additional information

1. The first round of the interview will be conducted via a recorded Google Form, shared through Internshala messages
2. The second round will be an interview with the HR or the founder directly
3. If selected, the first 1-2 weeks will involve testing your knowledge, providing basic training, and evaluating communication compatibility with your manager (the training period is paid)
4. Based on your performance during the training period and your ability to meet role expectations, you will be formally assigned an offer letter
