About the work from home job/internship
We are seeking a talented assessment writer specializing in psychology to join our team. You will be responsible for creating high-quality, engaging, and accurate assessments that measure various aspects of psychological knowledge and skills.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Develop assessment items, including multiple-choice questions, short-answer questions, case studies, and performance tasks, related to various topics in psychology such as cognitive processes, developmental psychology, abnormal psychology, social psychology, and more
2. Collaborate with subject matter experts and instructional designers to ensure assessments are aligned with learning objectives, curriculum standards, and best practices in assessment design
3. Conduct thorough research to ensure accuracy, relevance, and currency of assessment content
4. Develop clear and concise item stems and response options that assess students' understanding and application of psychological concepts
5. Edit and revise assessment items based on feedback from subject matter experts, instructional designers, and quality assurance team members
6. Ensure assessments are free from bias, ambiguity, and errors, and comply with accessibility guidelines
7. Stay updated with current trends, research, and developments in psychology education and assessment practices
Qualifications:
1. PhD or a Master's degree in Psychology/Educational Psychology
2. Proven experience in assessment writing, particularly in the field of Psychology (as per Bloom's Taxonomy level)
3. Strong knowledge of psychological theories, principles, research methods, and applications across various subfields of psychology
