About the work from home job/internship
As business development intern, we are looking for individuals with exceptional communication skills who have the knack to understand audience needs and iterate outreach and pitch strategies to achieve better outputs. This would be a part-time opportunity, where you would be required to give around 3 hours each day.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Lead generation and research:
- Identify potential clients by researching industries, markets, and companies that align with our target profile.
- Compile, organize, and maintain a database of qualified leads using CRM tools and Excel.
- Analyze competitor activities and industry trends to enhance outreach and refine the target audience.
2. Cold calling and prospecting:
- Conduct initial cold calls to prospective clients to introduce the company and its services.
- Qualify leads by understanding client needs, pain points, and potential areas of collaboration.
- Schedule follow-up calls or meetings for senior team members with interested prospects.
3. Email outreach:
- Develop and execute personalized email campaigns to engage potential clients.
- Utilize LinkedIn and other social media platforms to identify, connect, and engage with prospective clients.
- Monitor outreach responses, adjust messaging based on engagement, and document progress.
4. Outreach strategy development:
- Collaborate with the business development team to brainstorm and test various outreach strategies, such as email sequences and follow-up schedules.
- A/B test messaging strategies to improve open rates, response rates, and engagement.
- Create weekly reports detailing outreach activities, responses, and outcomes, providing insights on strategy effectiveness.
