Kulture Katta is dedicated to bringing culture to walkable neighborhoods through informal gatherings called kattas. We host small, intimate events in various venues, encouraging lifelong interests through activities, demonstrations, and performances. We also conduct online and virtual kattas.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Identify and reach out to potential katta pramukhs (activity experts) to join our platform.
2. Coordinate with venues to host kattas, ensuring all logistical arrangements are in place.
3. Visit and assess potential event venues, photograph the space, and discuss capacity and logistics with the venue owner.
4. Share the event calendar with venue owners and ensure they are updated on upcoming events.
5. Build and maintain relationships with katta pramukhs and venue partners.
6. Assist in the onboarding process for new katta pramukhs, including orientation and training.
7. Schedule and manage meetings with katta pramukhs and venue representatives.
8. Share event space locations with katta pramukhs and coordinate visits to the venue for recce and planning.
9. Maintain records of contacts, agreements, and event details.
10. Support the team in organizing and executing events as needed.
11. Most of the time, accompany the supervisor to venue visits and meetings with katta pramukhs.

Qualifications:
1. Pursuing or completed a degree in marketing, event management, communications, or a related field.
2. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
3. Ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
4. Organizational skills with attention to detail.
5. Self-motivated and able to work independently.
6. Previous experience in event coordination or community engagement is a plus.
7. Comfortable with regular travel within the local area for venue visits and meetings.
We have 19 clubs under Kulture Katta and under these 19 clubs we curate small intimate gatherings at peoples' homes, cafes, corporates and schools.
