About the work from home job/internship
We are looking for a highly motivated and outgoing community management intern to help expand Shway: tinder for plans across various social media platforms and drive user acquisition through organic engagement. This role will involve building relationships with potential users, engaging with online communities, and actively growing our social media presence through direct interactions, DMs, comments, and follows. As an intern, you will be at the forefront of creating buzz around the app, increasing brand awareness, and driving downloads by directly engaging with individuals across platforms like Reddit, Instagram, Twitter, and more.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Reach out to potential users through DMs, comments, and follows to spark conversations and raise awareness about Shway
2. Actively engage in conversations in relevant Reddit communities, Facebook groups, and Twitter threads related to socializing, events, and planning
3. Actively follow, comment, and interact with users on social media platforms to increase visibility and foster connections around the app
4. Assist in brainstorming and executing creative campaigns that align with our brand and app goals
5. Monitor trends, viral content, and app-related topics to incorporate into social media posts and conversations

1. Strong passion for social media and digital marketing
2. Familiarity with platforms such as Reddit, Instagram, and Twitter, and their best practices for growth and engagement
3. Creative thinking and an eye for compelling content
4. Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
5. Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced, startup environment
6. Interest or experience in mobile apps, particularly in the social or events space
