Internship Overview: We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated interns to join our team for a 4-month tenure. This internship is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in different verticals including Blog writing, video transcription, translation and more. As an intern at Paigam, you will work closely with our team to produce high-quality content and contribute to our mission of spreading meaningful messages.
Key Responsibilities:
Blog Writing:
Create engaging and informative blog content on various topics.
Research and write articles, ensuring accuracy and adherence to guidelines.
Collaborate with the content team to develop content strategies and themes.
Edit and proofread posts for clarity, grammar, and style.
Video Transcription:
Transcribe audio and video content into clear, accurate written text.
Ensure transcriptions are error-free and properly formatted.
Assist in preparing transcripts for reports, publications, and archival purposes.
Manage and organize transcribed content for easy retrieval.
Translation:
Translate written documents from one language to another, ensuring accuracy and cultural relevance.
Review and edit translations to maintain quality and consistency.
Support translation projects by providing linguistic expertise and cultural insights.
Collaborate with the team to meet translation deadlines and requirements.
General Support:
Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions.
Assist in managing social media accounts and engagement.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

PAIGAM (People's Association In Grassroots Action and Movement) is an aggregator of activists, researchers, practitioners, and organizations that aims to bring together social efforts at the local, national and global levels through media advocacy and action research. We are engaged in a number of projects which include 'Covid-19 Delhi Relief Work' where we reached out to more than ten thousand persons during the lockdown. We also started a fundraiser to help the waste picker community of Delhi and provided them with ration kits and other relief materials. Even YouTuber Samay Raina raised funds for the initiative through the #ChessForCharity live stream event with the legendary Viswanathan Anand and a number of comedians.
