Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Build a Machine Learning system from scratch in Python to predict prices for items.
2. Build a scheduler to run the system on a preset schedule.
3. Also build a way to run the system on the command line.
4. Deploy the system to Google Cloud and test it on real data in production.
