About the work from home job/internship
We are seeking a highly motivated Data Science Intern to join our team. The selected candidate will work on cutting-edge research problems with the goal of publishing their work in top conferences or journals. Areas of focus include AI/ML, GenAI, ethics and bias in AI, large multimodal models(LMM),Large Language Models (LLM), low-resource languages, and other innovative topics.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Applying Python and PyTorch skills to tackle data science problems
2. Utilizing transformers and Hugging Face library for advanced NLP tasks
3. Conducting experiments and developing models using Jupyter Notebooks and Google Collab
4. Exploring and implementing ideas from survey papers related to AI/ML fairness, low-resource languages, Gen AI and other relevant topics
Skill(s) required:
1. Python
2. PyTorch
3. Data Science concepts
4. Transformers (Hugging Face)
5. Jupyter Notebooks
6. Google Colab
7. Strong background in Mathematics
8. Familiarity with key research papers (e.g., "Attention is All You Need," BERT)
