Job Description: Content Ideation - Intern
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Research and Analysis: Stay updated on current trends, news, and developments across the sports landscape.
2. Conduct thorough research to identify emerging topics, stories, and angles relevant to our audience.
3. Idea Generation: Collaborate with the content team to generate fresh and engaging content ideas that resonate with sports fans.
4. Brainstorm creative concepts for articles, videos, podcasts, and other multimedia content formats.
5. Content Planning: Assist in developing content calendars and strategic plans based on content ideas and themes.
6. Help prioritise content initiatives and align them with audience interests and company objectives.
7. Presentation: Prepare and present content proposals to internal stakeholders, including editors, producers, and executives.
8. Articulate the value proposition and potential impact of proposed content ideas effectively.
9. Feedback Integration: Gather feedback from team members and incorporate suggestions to refine content concepts and improve their relevance and appeal. Iterate on ideas based on constructive criticism and performance metrics.
10. Collaboration: Work closely with writers, editors, designers, and other team members to bring content ideas to life.
11. Support the content creation process from ideation to execution, ensuring alignment with editorial standards and brand guidelines.
12. Monitoring and Analysis: Track the performance of published content and analyze audience engagement metrics, including views, shares, comments, and other relevant indicators.
13. Use data insights to evaluate the success of content initiatives and inform future ideation efforts.

4. Creativity and innovation, demonstrated through the development of original content concepts and pitches.
5. Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to quality and accuracy in content planning and execution.
6. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and adapt to evolving priorities.
7. Currently enrolled in a college or university program, pursuing a degree in journalism, communications, marketing, or a related field (preferred).
