About the work from home job/internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute a sales strategy to drive the growth of Apneehatti's online marketplace. Target potential customers, including individual buyers, retail partners, and corporate clients.
2. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers to increase customer retention, satisfaction, and sales volume.
3. Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with the diverse range of products available on the platform and effectively communicate their unique value propositions to clients.
4. Lead Generation & Networking: Identify and approach new clients through networking, cold calls, emails, and social media platforms.
5. Sales Reporting: Regularly report on sales progress, including lead generation, conversion rates, and sales volume. Use CRM tools to track and manage sales activities.
6. Market Research: Continuously monitor market trends and competitors, identifying new opportunities to expand the brand and products.
7. Customer Support: Handle customer inquiries and feedback, ensuring prompt resolution of issues and building strong long-term relationships.
8. Promotions & Campaigns: Align sales efforts with ongoing promotions and campaigns, optimizing product visibility.

Other requirements

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in sales, business development, or a similar role, preferably in e-commerce or retail sales.

- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

- Passion for supporting local artisans and a deep understanding of their value.

- Ability to work independently, self-motivated, and target-oriented.

- Familiarity with online marketplace platforms and e-commerce operations.

- CRM experience is a plus (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).

- A results-driven mindset with the ability to adapt to a rapidly changing marketplace.

Additional information

Stipend structure: This is a performance-based internship. In addition to the minimum-assured stipend, you will also be paid a performance-linked incentive (₹ 1000 per sales target).
