About the work from home job/internship

We are seeking a highly skilled Malayalam transcription and translation specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transcribing audio/video content from Malayalam to text and translating written documents between Malayalam and English (or other specified languages). Attention to detail, fluency in both languages and the ability to work within tight deadlines are essential for this role.

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Transcription: Accurately transcribe audio and video files in Malayalam into written text, ensuring proper grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
2. Translation: Translate documents from Malayalam to English (or vice versa) while maintaining the original meaning, tone, and context.
3. Quality control: Proofread and edit transcriptions and translations for accuracy and completeness.
4. Time management: Ensure timely delivery of transcriptions and translations within set deadlines.
5. Cultural sensitivity: Maintain an understanding of the cultural context of the source and target languages to ensure accurate translations.
6. Formatting: Format documents according to client specifications, ensuring consistency across all projects.

Additional information

Stipend structure: This is a performance-based internship. In addition to the minimum-assured stipend, you will also be paid a performance-linked incentive (5% of revenue generated).
